A. It’s easy. When you get a prescription from your physician, check to see the price at participating pharmacies and choose the best deal. Take your card (physical card you got in the mail or digital one on the app) to the participating pharmacy with your prescription, show your card to the pharmacist, pay, and enjoy the savings!

A. Restrictions exist for certain featured brand medications only. For example, if you participate in a state or federally funded health care program, such as Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, or others, you may not use New Benefits Rx to purchase specific featured brand medications, even if you elect to pay for the prescription as an uninsured or cash-paying patient. You may use New Benefits Rx if you are enrolled in one of these programs and choose to purchase generic or non-featured brand medications. Additionally, if you’re 65 or older, you cannot use New Benefits Rx to purchase Advair® HFA, Anoro® Ellipta®, Arnuity® Ellipta®, Breo® Ellipta®, Incruse® Ellipta®, Trelegy Ellipta, Flovent® Diskus® or Flovent® HFA.

A. The New Benefits Rx card is not insurance and it cannot be combined with your insurance, copay cards, or any other secondary payer. If you go outside of your benefit and use the New Benefits Rx card, the cost of your medication may not apply toward your deductible or other cost-sharing requirements. Before using the New Benefits Rx card, check your insurance benefit because it may provide greater savings than the New Benefits Rx card. You may be able to use a Flexible Savings Account (FSA) to pay for your prescription when using New Benefits Rx, depending on the terms of your FSA.

A. Your New Benefits Rx card is good at over 60,000 pharmacies in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. You can view all participating pharmacies in your area by running a pricing inquiry. You can also call us at 800.800.7616 (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST).

A. This program is valid at participating pharmacies in all U.S. states and Puerto Rico. If your pharmacy is in the network but unable or unwilling to process your discount, please have the pharmacist call us at 877.640.7912 (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST).

A. You can always check the current price of your prescription online, by calling member support at 800.800.7616 (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST), or by asking the pharmacist to run a test purchase at the counter. We cannot guarantee the price you pay at the pharmacy will always be the price that is displayed or advertised in advance of your purchase. Pricing may change over time and may vary depending on the pharmacy at which you fill the medication.

A. You should be able to use your New Benefits Rx card for most of your prescriptions. Try our pharmacy price comparison tool to price medications you currently take or may take in the future.

A. Currently, New Benefits Pet Rx is only valid with human medications for pets. It cannot be used to purchase medications that are prescribed exclusively for animals, such as certain types of parasiticides or vaccines.

A. Just like with our human clients, New Benefits Pet Rx is not insurance and cannot be combined with any insurance benefit, copay assistance program, or other third-party financial benefits.

A. Currently, New Benefits Pet Rx can be used to purchase many human medications prescribed to pets, such as antibiotics, antidepressants, and drugs to treat diabetes and asthma. It cannot be used to purchase medications that are prescribed exclusively for animals, such as certain types of parasiticides or vaccines.

A. New Benefits Pet Rx is just like the human discount program and can be used at more than 60,000 participating retail pharmacies that fill prescriptions for pets. Easily search for participating pharmacies and pick the one closest to you.

A. Absolutely! Look up the current price of your prescription online, by calling member support at 800.800.7616 (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST), or by asking the pharmacist to run a test purchase at the counter. If you're performing your price search online, please ensure you adjust your search from "People" to "Pets." New Benefits Rx cannot guarantee that the price you pay at the pharmacy will always be the price that is displayed or advertised in advance of your purchase. Pricing may change over time, and may vary depending on the pharmacy at which you fill your medication.

A. Anyone in the U.S. who is 18 or older can use the New Benefits Rx prescription savings program and choose home delivery to deliver discounted medication directly to their door. Each person in your household will need to register individually to get home delivery through the New Benefits Rx prescription savings program.

A. Compound prescriptions, controlled substances as defined by state and federal governments, vaccines, specialty medications, bulk powders, over-the-counter (OTC) medication, medication for pets, and re-packaged drugs are not available through Home Delivery. Also, some limitations apply to select brand medications.

A. After you place your order:

• We will contact your doctor to confirm your prescription. If you want to get your medication faster, let your doctor know that Express Scripts Pharmacy will be contacting them soon. If your doctor provides a prescription that doesn't match your request, we will contact you to confirm the order. Please make sure to call us back to avoid any order delays.
  
• Our pharmacists review each prescription for accuracy, fill, and ship your medication after your doctor confirms your prescription. Once it's filled, you should receive your medication in three to five business days.
  
• You can check your order status or request a refill by coming back to this site and logging in with your username and password.

A. To order a new prescription, search for a medication and place your order. Express Scripts will contact your doctor for a new prescription. To refill or renew a medication you have already received through home delivery, please call us at 844.604.9164.

A. At this time, Express Scripts is unable to accept mailed-in prescriptions. It is typically faster to receive your order if Express Scripts contacts your doctor for an electronic copy of the prescription. Express Scripts will automatically contact your doctor once you submit your order .
