Walmart Health Virtual Care

Illness or injury can strike suddenly! Walmart Health Virtual Care gives members and their families access to medical help via telephone or web, any time, day or night. When primary care is not available, during travel or after-hours, Walmart Health Virtual Care’s national network of US-licensed, board-certified medical providers is available to diagnose and prescribe certain medications when medically necessary for common, acute conditions. 

Prescriptions cannot be written for controlled substances or elective medications. Services not available outside of the United States. Walmart Health Virtual Care provides online medical consultations with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who can write prescriptions when medically necessary and permitted by state law. Walmart Health Virtual Care is not a replacement for your primary care physician or an annual doctor’s office visit. Video-only appointments are required in 31 states: AK, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IN, IA, KS, LA, ME, MD, MS, MO, NH, NJ, NM, ND, OR, OK, RI, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA and WI.
