Vice President of Information Technology
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT) to lead and shape our technology vision, infrastructure, and development initiatives. This executive-level role will oversee all aspects of IT operations—including internal software development (web, mobile, and proprietary platforms), cybersecurity, IT governance, DevOps, and both cloud and on-prem infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong technical foundation, capable of driving innovation while ensuring stability, security, and scalability to support our ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals.

Inspire, lead, and mentor a cross-functional team including developers, IT specialists, and system administrators.

Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology-driven opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency.

Promote a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations and ensuring the IT department consistently meets these standards.

Clearly define roles and responsibilities to ensure adherence to policies, principles, procedures, and best practices in day-to-day operations.
Software Development & Product Oversight

Oversee internal and outsourced development teams for delivery of high-quality web platforms, mobile apps, and internal business tools.

Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure quality, consistency, and on-time delivery across all development projects.

Drive best practices in agile development, software architecture, and lifecycle management.

Ensure usability, scalability, and reliability of all digital products.
Cybersecurity, Compliance & IT Governance

Develop and enforce comprehensive cybersecurity and data privacy frameworks.

Lead IT security initiatives, including policy development, incident response planning, risk assessments, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2 as applicable).

Continuously monitor emerging security threats and implement proactive mitigation strategies to reduce risk and maintain business continuity.
Infrastructure & Operations

Manage on-premise server and network infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, reliability, and security.

Manage Azure and other cloud-based platforms to effectively support and scale hybrid IT environments.

Lead DevOps initiatives to strengthen CI/CD pipelines for efficient, automated deployments.
Software Procurement & Cost Management

Oversee the evaluation, procurement, and management of enterprise software, licenses, and cross-functional tools.

Optimize technology spend by identifying redundancies, consolidating systems, and eliminating unused licenses.

Negotiate vendor contracts to secure cost-efficient, scalable solutions that support long-term business needs.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including software development, IT operations, and cybersecurity.

Hands-on experience with SAFe Agile (Scaled Agile Framework), including leading Agile transformation or working within Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

Demonstrated success in managing both on-prem and cloud infrastructure (Azure strongly preferred).

In-depth knowledge of secure software development, IT governance, and modern DevOps methodologies.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT security compliance.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work cross functionally.

Experience working in a growing mid-sized company environment.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Azure Solutions Architect, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is plus.
